MAURINE MURENGA
Is a passionate health and human rights advocate for women and young girls with a background in Program management and community development. She is a pioneer amongst the young women and adolescent girls health movement in Kenya. Maurine’s passion for Advocacy is driven by the inequality and vulnerability that young women and adolescent girls experience in her community .In response to these challenges -she founded the Lean on Me foundation. Maurine is currently the Coordinator Of Lean on Me Foundation ,Board Member of the communities Delegation to the Board of the Global Fund, friend of the Fight Us and EGPAF Kenya .She is a Member of the Global Fund’s Audit and Finance Committee: part of the Global Fund Advocates Networks: and Alternate Board Member Unitaid. In Kenya Maurine is a member of the Global Fund Country Coordinating Mechanism : Member of the Global Accelerator For Paediatric Formulations Advisory Committee and formerly the Global Fund Coordinator Of ICW Global.

He is an accomplished member of The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) with over 15 years expertise in overseeing accounting functions for diverse institutions. Objective team player with demonstrated success in leading financial systems, programs and in directing end-to-end accounting cycles, financial reporting, and policy and procedure development. Knowledgeable about regulatory requirements and successful strategies for maintaining optimal controls. Well-organized, proactive and adaptable to dynamic conditions with proven leadership skills.

MILLICENT ADHIAMBO JAOKO
Millicent  manages and coordinates Lean On Me Foundation activities from planning ,organizing and implementing activities and also acting as a liaison between Lean on Me Foundation and external stakeholders in establishing and maintaining relationships , networks and collaborations to facilitate smooth project implementation and community engagements. Joined the organization as a mentor  supporting and empowering Adolescent and Young women Living with HIV particularly in the prevention of mother to child transmission(PMTCT)programs by providing peer support during the various stages of Pregnancy, childbirth andpostpartum, Educating on HIV,PMTCT and treatment options providing information on medication adherence ,disclosure ,stigma and coping strategies and addressing emotional and psychological well being.

She started off as a peer educator where she held monthly support group therapy sessions for AGYWLHIV(,Young women living with HIV), conducted home visits to those that were lost to follow-up and bring them back to care, conducted outreach activities to provide accurate and current health information to AGYWLHIV regarding SRHR. She led in Leadership project for AGYW called Agents of change analyzed on their own strengths and weaknesses, setting personal goals and building their self- esteem. She undertakes roles in project planning, project Implementation and project monitoring and evaluation.she has made immense strides ,currently she is part of the Women’s’ education (WEDU) Alumni a leadership program that is designed to invest in women leading the change., KECTIL Colleague in the undertaking a year long leadership course at KECTIL program which aims to identify and nurture youth who have the potential to make a positive difference in the communities. She has various skills in Mental health training ,Digital Advocacy ,English for career development , YALI(Young African Leaders Initiative) Alumni ,SRHR/HIV integration, Tuberculosis 101,Youth in action Advocacy ,and basic Introduction to leadership course.

MAURINE OORA
Joined Lean on Me foundation in 2010 Started as a peer Educator to now being the Program officer(HIV)For LEAN On Me Foundation office in Kisumu. Her work entails; helping women with adherence issues, inclusive breastfeeding and disclosure, managing  and supporting  the field team, which includes peer educators, volunteers and community workers, providing guidance training and supervision. She also identifies capacity gaps among the field team and coordinates initiatives to address the gaps either by mentoring or coaching to enhance the skills. Her greatest achievement Under Lean on me is forming Five groups of Pregnant women and Lactating AGYW(Adolescent Girls and Young Women) at the community level .

SABINA MAGINA
She works closely in identifying and monitoring students under education sponsorship ,general staff in ensuring the smooth operations for both offices , timely receipt of report forms and a liasion between parents, guardians. Ms Magina also initiates monthly work plans and action documenting cases studies. she also represents lean on me foundation at relevant stakeholders’ meetings and Workshops.She has a background in counselling and hasvision to create a forum where all Education beneficiary students - share their experiences allowing her to mentor them and use her craft to understand the challenges they face in their day to day learning .

julian ateka asami
She is a trained theologist With prior knowledge in planning and organizing events, delegating responsibilities to team to attain timelines .she has a passion in dance choreography and hasworked as a volunteer in a childrens home , engaging in children home programs, mentoring teens and offering counselling programs.her main focus is to reach out tosociety , mentor young adolescence in spiritual, mental and body health.She motivates others to deliver and achieve a desired goal by delegating ,identifying and resolve problems.she mobilizes Young Adolescent girls and young mothers living with HIV to access treatment and care services,working closely with health facilities and other stakeholders , conduct home visits and follow ups to those who have defaulted and bring them back to care .

CYNTHIA MEKUBO
A teacher by profession, feminist and and young advocate passionate about what she does. She worked as a community peer volunteer affiliated to a referral hospital, named a peer champion due to her leadership skills during her voluntary service. She started out as a peer educator where she managed to form 3 support groups for adolescent girls, young mothers and SGBV survivors in her community. Currently a programs officer on TB .she is always ready to network with other people in her community especially those working with adolescent girls and young women to fight against TB stigma and discrimination towards the female gender.

JOYCE INDIEGU
Experienced film maker with a keen eye for storytelling and a passion for social change using her craft to change mindset .She uses her creative Arts skills to shed light on social issues and has been instrumental in driving change through film making and scripting .she is passionate about amplifying marginalized voices ,promoting and fostering meaningful engagements .Indiegu’s is known for her creative skill in creating persuasive thought provoking stories that champions causes that uplift and foster meaningful engagements .She plans to bridge the gap between creative arts and social activism by ccreating advocacy campaigns that bring about change.she has sat in various capapcities as a film festival jury on different festivals and also received nominations for her creative writing.

ROSEMARY atieno
She joined  Lean on Me Foundation as part of a focus group discussion where she got encouragement on how to adhere to her medication.she also trained as a community change agent with an aim of empowering adoles cents, girls, and young women in reproductive and sexual health, HIV/TB, hu man rights, and gender-based violence. She has also served as a peer educator and has basic certification skills in counseling and communication skills,

She has a background in community health and development ,with basic knowledge in counselling ,communication and facilitation skills She is an agent of change in the community and mentors her peers about HIV and TB . She oversees and cordinates projects and initiatives across the organization aligning with the goals and obkectives ,she formulates and accesses program performance,creating new ideas and working closely with other team members to realiaze timelines are met and develop long term plans .
